You will be working on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications across multiple browsers, platforms, devices, and screen sizes.
Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases covering functional, regression, performance, stress, and compatibility testing.
Perform cross browser and cross platform testing to ensure consistent application behavior across environments.
Conduct multi-device and multi-screen testing to validate responsiveness and usability across form factors.
Identify, log, track, and verify defects, including broken links, UI inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks, through to resolution.
Perform stress and performance testing to evaluate application behavior under load and identify potential breaking points.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and translate them into effective test plans and test cases.
You are a detail-oriented and quality-driven professional who takes ownership of the testing process and continuously looks to improve it.
Mentor junior QA team members and review their test cases and reports.
Desired Skills & Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on manual testing.
Hands-on experience in manual testing of both web and mobile applications.
Proficient in cross browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.) and cross platform testing (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
Experience with performance testing and stress testing to assess application stability and responsiveness under varying loads.
Skilled in broken link testing and general functional/UI validation.
Experience with multi-device and multi-screen testing to ensure consistent user experience across resolutions and form factors.
Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle (STLC), test case design, and defect management/tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Ability to write clear, structured test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
Experience with agile methodologies and working in sprint-based development cycles.
You're willing to learn new tools and testing techniques as products and technologies evolve.
Communication: You like discussing test plans upfront, welcome collaboration, and are an excellent verbal and written communicator.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
