Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake DBT Architect who will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing modern cloud-based data platforms using Snowflake and dbt. The candidate should have strong expertise in data warehousing, ELT/ETL processes, data modeling, and cloud technologies.
Responsibility
Bring architect-level thinking from source ingestion through curated data marts.
Lead Snowflake security and governance including RBAC, identity and access patterns, environment design (accounts, databases, schemas, warehouses, roles), and compute cost governance (sizing, monitoring, optimization tradeoffs).
Help establish early Snowflake environment standards and guardrails.
Reconcile Snowflake data with GCP source datasets and explain variances clearly.
Improve performance through materialization strategy and view optimization.
Make practical tradeoffs across cost, speed, and reliability.
Support migration of legacy stored procedures/precompiled SQL collections into sustainable patterns.
Collaborate effectively with dbt workflows and analytics engineering teams.
Required Skills:
Strong experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
Hands-on expertise in dbt (Data Build Tool).
Good understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts.
Experience in ETL/ELT development and optimization.
