Engineer, Professional Services
The Professional Services Engineer is a hands-on technical contributor within Wunderkind’s Professional Services organization, responsible for implementing, integrating, and supporting customized client solutions. This role works closely with cross-functional Services teams and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable technical implementations. The ideal candidate is a strong JavaScript engineer with experience building third-party integrations, validating data pipelines, and delivering production-ready solutions in a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality JavaScript and jQuery code to support end-to-end campaign requirements
- Implement client-specific technical solutions, including third-party integrations with client technology stacks (e.g., ESPs/CRMs, analytics tools)
- Configure, validate, and support campaign setups within both Wunderkind’s internal platform and common ESP & CRM systems, ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements
- Partner with clients to test, validate, and support the implementation of client-facing SDKs (web and mobile app), including reviewing integrations, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical guidance and feedback
- Perform extensive data validation to ensure accurate data collection
- Execute functional testing and post-deployment validation to ensure campaigns and integrations perform as expected
- Collaborate with internal Delivery teams to ensure solutions align with platform standards and best practices
Required Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery with the ability to read and modify existing codebases
- Experience implementing and working with SDKs
- Proven experience building and supporting API integrations
- Hands-on experience using Git-based version control (GitHub and/or GitLab) in a collaborative workflow (branches, pull requests, code reviews).
- Strong debugging, testing, and data validation skills
- Experience deploying and supporting production code in live client environments
- Familiarity with Email Service Providers (ESPs) such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, Braze, Bloomreach
- Experience with Go and/or PHP, preferred
